<A conversation in color>는 핑크 컬러의 원단으로 집의 형태를 구현한 설치 작업으로 시작됩니다. 이번 프로젝트는 브랜드의 시그니처인 브라운 톤을 확장해, 부드럽게 번져 나가는 분홍빛의 스펙트럼을 새로운 언어로 제안합니다. 텐트를 이루는 UMBER의 분홍빛 원단은 청도에 위치한 공방에서 수작업으로 제작되었으며, 나무를 활용한 자연 염색 방식을 통해 은은한 결과 따뜻한 색감을 담아냈습니다. 집 안의 공간에는 UMBER POSTPAST의 2025 가을/겨울 컬렉션이 전시되어, 관람객이 옷을 직접 보고, 입고, 체험할 수 있도록 마련되었습니다. 이번 시즌은 방발염과 진흙의 텍스처 등 다양한 염색 기법을 탐구하여, 직조와 색채, 소재가 어우러지며 만들어내는 새로운 우아함을 선보입니다. <A conversation in color>는 단순한 설치를 넘어, 색이 어떻게 공간 속에서 확장되고, 또 옷을 통해 경험될 수 있는지를 보여주며, UMBER POSTPAST가 구축해 나가는 시각적 언어를 한층 확장해 나갑니다.

<A conversation in color> begins with an installation that takes the form of a house, constructed from fabric dyed in soft shades of pink. This project extends the brand’s signature brown tones, proposing a new visual language through the gentle spectrum of pink. The tent fabric was hand-crafted at a workshop in Cheongdo, using natural dyeing techniques with wood. Its subtle texture and warm hue embody the sense of time and intimacy that UMBER seeks to convey. Inside the house, UMBER POSTPAST’s 2025 F/W collection is presented, inviting visitors to see, wear, and experience the garments directly. This season explores diverse dyeing methods—including resist dyeing and the textures of clay—revealing a new elegance born from the interplay of weave, color, and material. <A conversation in color> moves beyond a simple installation to show how color can expand within space and be experienced through clothing, further developing the visual language that defines UMBER POSTPAST.
