Composition

UMBER’s mud-dyeing fabric uses silk dyed with Shu-liang. The fabric is completed by repeatedly applying mud and drying it with sunlight. The fabric’s luxurious black color is implemented only after several repeated drying and more than six months of preservation. 

The fabric, which utilizes mud dyeing techniques, has a distinctive gloss and refined color, as well as antibacterial/insective effects and UV blocking.
